Monday - briefly serenading with sanity

I got up before I went t'bed....

We didn't have beds. There were 27 of us livin' in t'shoe box in middle o' road.

WFH means I got to walk in the snow with the hounds

Later is undecided, probably turbo as I don’t fancy rolling my ankle as many times as yesterday running in the snow

Morning all. Early start at 4.30 and just come up for air. Some clever tw#t turned the factory heating off so no frost protection. Flutter of snow and very icy first thing. Luckily no one on the road first thing to get in the way. Roll on finish time. Some proper snow would be nice, sadly the greedy jocks want to keep it.

I want risking knights lane on the bike today as I didn't know how it was , as it happened they had gritted but getting off the estate would have been dicey. If it stays dry overnight I plan to be back to it tomorrow

Why not use the TT indoors?!

Because Mts W would probably divorce me if I brought it in the house. Anyhow turbo was yesterday, today was weights and fingerboarding as it was too cold to climb.

A stunning drive south today: even the smog looks better in the sun. Roads mostly clear apart from an hour or so driving amongst the white stuff.
Heating in Mum's house has been on low since she went into hospital, so it's bliddy freezing.

It was clear this morning but the cycle path along the A38 still had some snow on it, saw it was snowing again around 8 am in swad
