Slightly soggy start and more of the same to come but at least the plants are getting watered.

Had decent ride yesterday afternoon while the sun was shining, so on the train into town for more of the usual. Schools must be out for summer/people naffed off on holiday as the roads were pretty quiet on the drive into the 'burbs.

si, and it's windier than a windy thing that's windy, lethal on the high roads so just having a headwind out tailwind back ride

just slogged a couple hundred m up to say hola to the cactus, currently at the cafe that's been here since 1890, next it's 53/11 all the way back, including the uphill bits

don't have anything nearly that low, most of the way up on the big ring, for the steep bits have to make do with 39/28 and determination

after another coffee, procured a punnet of volcano strawberries once back in town, delightfully mis-shapen and randomly sized, they taste like proper strawberries too

I would have loved to have sought refuge from teenage egocentricity coupled with limitless want but the weather gods have put that to bed. Hoping it will clear for a short jolly at least.

Shoot sleep. Gulls woke me up at 3am doing some extreme honking. Carried on till 4am-ish. Too cold to sleep with the fan on. Too hot to sleep with it off.

Back in the orifice. Shirking duties and having very lengthy chat with the boss about nothing in particular.
Coffee. At least it's decent InstaJava..

Off down the street this pm for a short notice rescheduled vacc appt, original would have clashed with my finally scheduled follow up day op next week which 🤞will remove all the plastic tubing I've been embedded with these past 3-4 months. Sometimes The System does work.
