Camera scan day at the skin clinic - nothing requiring any intervention for a change. Good, I have enough random scars from past visits.

Bike ride in Jock Land today, a 50 km run ending out at John O Groats. Crikey those roads are bad! Looked like a thin thread of tarmac joining the potholes most of the way. Brisk walk after to unwind the wrinkles in the back.

no, that bbc report about people torturing cats has left me with an even lower opinion of humanity than usual

don't let beans see it

I don't want to see it, never mind Beans. Was/were the perpetrator(s) caught?

I'll frikkin torture them. Boil them in acid after putting there dangly buts in a vice and pulling out their teeth one by one with pliers.

That was hard to even read. Hope the scumbag gets some 'education' from animal loving serious criminals while in prison.

there was one report about a prosecution in the uk

a separate report about online groups who post videos of themselves torturing them, it mentioned uk, china, it's global, they broadcast a few clips, horrific - tbh i think it was not a good editorial decision to show on bbc breakfast

I only saw the first one: I'm not going the read the other you mention as I saw more than enough in the first one. Absolutely 'kin dreadful, I like to think I'm well 'insulated' from getting upset/ angry/ sickened by stuff I see in the news but not that one.
