Took a while to find this set up , seatpost from one source and saddle from another both NOS . Fitted today and this is my report , l honestly can't see what makes these that much different from conventional seatpost/saddle arrangement , apart from marginally less weight . Perhaps l'm missing the point

In a word ‘marketing’. The main advantage would be not having to insert the Allen key from below, so less fiddly?

Couldn't agree more, and as an ex advertising agency bod , l ought to know better. Just happy that l found the post and the saddle from different sources and at a price nowhere near the full retail !
