HALLOWEEN MOONRIDE
Friday 31st October – Saturday 1st November 2014
With a rich history steeped in centuries of ghastly tales, London is one of the world's spookiest cities, where history still haunts the streets. When the moon casts shadows over the Halloween night, can you hold your nerve whilst cycling this creepy city? You will discover a different London to the one you know; as you pedal you will uncover the dark history lurking behind the doors of London’s famous sights, the stories which hide in the shadows of street corners as you ride amongst fellow ghouls and zombies on this Halloween eve...
This 80 km follows a figure of 8 blood trail across the city - returning to the 'The Crypt' at the half way point to refresh. Setting out from 10 pm the route loosely follows some of the city's most notorious horror spots - and includes 2 midpoint stops with snacks - one staffed by our dedicated team of witches, the other by a motley collection of vampires. The route will be mapped, signed and marshalled by our teams of High-Vis Zombies along the way - you won’t want to get lost on this ride!

For some reason, our friend at Action Challenge has neglected to post the relevant details of his cut, and nor is it mentioned on the front page for each event. Hmm, wonder why?

£39 registration fee for each event, plus £60 out of the £200 minimum sponsorship. So that's nearly two quid a mile.....The two London rides, not the one to Brighton, give you the option of paying all £99 upfront yourself & then raise any amount of money for any charity. How generous of them.

Oh, it gets better. They're doing a couple of training rides. One of 46 miles, one of 33, each with a rest stop. Yes, they think people need a rest stop after sixteen miles (there are four on the Brighton ride!!!).... a snip at £19. The mind boggles.

Blimey! £99 could buy you a two day ski pass in Courchevel / Meribel / Val Thorens. They tow you up the hills there too.

HI guys!
Sorry there wasn't a reply- unfortunately the member of staff that posted this has now left the company. I have taken over, and am more than happy to answer your questions!

We charge a participant fee as we need to cover the associated costs with running the event, which includes but isn't limited to: Staff, Signage, rest stops, permissions, infrustructure, food and refreshments plus much more.

We do keep our costs as low as we possibly can, and work with hundreds of charities, both nationally and small local charities, who find these events to be fantastic fundraisers for them.

This event looks fantastic! So I really hope you feel able to join us!
