I have one of these in my static caravan.

Does a good job on the ropey patch of green weeds outside the 'van which cannot properly be called a lawn.

It works well even when the 'grass' is a few inches long or wet.

Relatively small area, but one charge is enough.

I did hear a tale of someone with one of those robot hoovers. It was all fine until one day when the dog had disgraced itself and the hoover, not designed for such duties, spread dog crap over the entire carpet. The toddler then got up and after playing on the carpet for a while had managed to smear itself with crap as well. After the Great Clean Up had been finished it appeared the hoover was ruined as well. It seems the manufacturers found out and thought the whole thing ao funny (and revolting) that they took pity and replace the hoover as a gesture

I have the Bosch Rotak Li. I have had it for 5 seasons now and would buy another if it broke. When I first got it, I thought it was a bit plasticy and cheap, but it has performed admirably, it very quiet and incredibly easy to use. 5* review from me.
