Found this site coz google pushed me face first into it after innocently monitoring every key stroke i made and deduced (A) i just recently bought a bike and (B) i had cycled up a big hill. I did Pym's hill in Goyt valley yesterday and this site suggests i chose the easy route from kettleshume, if that was easy there are tough time ahead!

Not familiar with Pym's Hill and couldn't find it on Google maps so can't comment on the steepness.

Hills get better the more you ride them - honest. One day you'll look back and think "I'm sure that used to be difficult."

Jenkins Chapel to Pym's Chair is the tough one.
The climb past Windgatherer from Kettleshulme is a bit more relaxed.

Keep at it and it will get better. Beating that hill under your own power is something that most of the population will never do so you're already one up.
