If you go to this website https://www.check-mot.service.gov.uk/ and enter the registration you can see all the details.

The first car has passed all MOTs first time with no advisories.

The second car has a couple of fails for things like a corroded spring, shock leaking oil, faulty headlights and wipers.

I think I might've sussed it. I saw a bit that said I had to type in a car's serial number to proceed. Obviously I wouldn't know random cars serial numbers so I gave up.

Car passed its MOT last week. 16 plate with 66,000 miles on the clock. Only done 5000 since test when I got it.
I'd sorted last year's advisory beforehand; ns track rod boot split. Garage quoted 90 squids to fix it.
I bought the part for £19 and a mate fitted it in exchange for cake & a lift to a hospital appointment in Kettering next Tuesday.. 👍

You don’t need any serial number, only the registration number.

Go to https://www.check-mot.service.gov.uk/ which looks like this:

Type in the relevant reg number and click continue.

You’ll then see this page:

See that bit I’ve circled in red? Click ‘show’ and you’ll be given the MOT history, like this:

No serial numbers asked for!

Ah, my apologies Accy, I didn't realise and wouldn't have taken the Trump if id known. Mrs D is exactly the same, blind in her NS eye.

No need to apologise Drago, no one knows till I tell them.😉 It's one of those 'not all disabilities are visible' moments. Having only monocular vision means judging how far I am off/from cars is quite difficult to judge sometimes, hence the shorter, narrower the car is the easier it is to judge how far I am off that certain vehicle.😉
