My cardiac moment are those.

We have 2 Bob 'Owlers (big **** off moths to you in the South) in the kitchen.

Hence why I am here in the PC room.

Such a relatively small thing but I am shitting it.

The OH and the dog are trying to get them out. Oh I'm crying like a baby

At a previous house Baggy was haunted by Mothzilla which would flutter up to the patio doors and rustle it's wings at her.

It was a hawk moth and bloody heeeyouge!

Moths and flies (including wasps) normally go towards the light. One way to get them out is to turn the lights off and on in sequence, so they go to the next room with the light on. Then you can sort of sheperd them towards the door.

We used to be haunted by the 11.22 moth. It would appear every night at that time and every night Mr Surf would despatch it with a handy paperback. It took moving house to get rid of it!

At dusk every evening a little pipistrelle bat comes and swoops around the back of our house catching the moths and other insects attracted by the lights. It's completely noiseless and amazingly agile; you can go out and throw a piece of gravel up in front of it and see it dive towards the target then veer off when it realises it's not food. Amazing.

The OH was eating her tea last night, on a step ladder, trying to catch them. All of a sudden - gone, vanished.
