Mrs Lance Jack and myself went into town last night for a 50th birthday at a hotel bar looking over the river. Got the bus into town as I was going to have a couple of drinks, so we got a return ticket (£10 for two of us!). Left about eleven last night and got the bus, we where the only ones on it and nobody else got on. As we travelled along through the residential part of the town I saw a motorbike came flying up the road towards us, the rider had no helmet and just had a vest on his top half, he was also drunk. The bike was a trials type bike minus a number plate. As he got to us he tried to turn but the angle he took the corner plus the speed ended up with him losing the front end, he slid and knocked himself out. The bus driver stopped and I jumped out and ran over. A few people had stopped, I was first there so went to the rider. He had started to come round and wanted to get back on his bike, I tried to reason with him that he was not fit enough but as he stood and tried to get on his bike he did a mega face plant straight onto the road. He really did knock himself out this time, masses of blood and teeth in the road, maybe a broken nose and a bit of lip hanging where he had bit it. Got a car to park in front of us to protect us and got somebody to get the police and ambulance. Made sure his airway was clear and just looked after him, the girl who was on the phone to the emergency services was liaising with me to find out his injuries. By the time the police arrived he had started to come round, they done some basic first aid and the ambulance turned up and took him away. The police cleaned me up as I was covered in blood and gave the two of us a lift home which I thought was good of them.
So, from this the rider should learn why you ride with a helmet and not pi$$ed and also where he can find a good dentist after he gets out of A&E.
I learned that blood will not come out of a white shirt that has only been worn once.

Soak in cold water overnight and then wash as normal. Always gets rid of blood.

Might sound callous, but in a way he deserved that.
No number plate, pissed and no helmet suggests someone who is likely to cause injury to others and do a runner.
Thats one of the reasons our insurance premiums are so high these days.

PS.
I would have done the same as you

Subtle! ^_^
Well done!

Must admit I've seen a few too many serious crashes between properly dressed bikers and other traffic. Not good.

Puddles

Do I need to get the spray plaster out?
Vinegar & bicarb in the wash, wash it at zero degrees (or lowest temp machine will go) hang out on line on sunny day - the blood will come out I know this as I wash more than my fair share of bloody white shirts, some of which the blood has been dried on for over a week and it still comes out.

I just washed it normally as soon as I got in and checked it this morning. Going to have a go as you have described.
When the police turned up they offered me some disposable blue gloves to protect my hands but I was covered by then.
