Apparently, Microsoft is planning to dump MSPaint from W10 updates soon!!
Such a simple and easy prog for quick and easy edits. No frills, just easy..

It is very simple and has limited features but that's the charm of the thing, almost anyone can use it, even Deluxe paint on the Amiga 27 years ago had more features...

Gimp. The freebie version is as functional as the cheap/ free Photoshop.

All other progs I know of do more than necessary for a fast loading, quick and simple image edit. Crop, resize, rotate, text etc.
No masks, layers, presets, endless lists of options.
Just simple.

Well, yes but no.

I'm better off with photoshop (or gimp), because I am also crap with a brush.

Perhaps they're getting rid of it because their customers discovered there are plenty of other free image editors available which do a better job?
e.g. Paint.NET
