My MTB has been brought out of retirement to be my commuter. It's so far doing really well: it's built like a tank; my speeds are higher than on the SS and it's comfy. The only issue is I got soaked this morning largely from spray from the front wheel so any advice on what is the best mudguard for front suspension (RST forks and V brakes)?

I know from experience I'll never have dry feet so it's just to stop the spray hitting me in the body. I noticed this morning that most the spray was coming up and over the handlebars rather than from under the downtube.

TIA

i have these , rear fastens with a strap around the seat post (needs tightening now and again) the front has a bung that fits insede the forks underneath and has never needed tightening or altering in anyway , i got mine from winstanleys bike (only a mile from home), £10 each

You can get neoprene things that fit to the suspension and stop water and dirt being thrown forward and up. Can't remember what they are called but some people swear by them out on the trails.
