It was a charity called Spokes who had an industrial unit and two portacabins stuffed full of donated bikes which they did up and sold on. It was mostly junk but occasionally you'd find a real gem in there. I was thinking of volunteering one or two mornings a week as a mechanic. But I went up there today and they've ceased trading. Bollocks.
