You should find your pace of increase speeds up but dont overdo it and get put off. After about an hour you start to find if the bike is right for you and so listen to any aches. Most can get sorted. Main thing is to keep going now the weather and nights are starting to turn against us.
I managed a 54miler (London - Brightion) in year 1, 100 miler in year two and then London - Paris this year. It is a great journey ahead - Enjoy it.

keep it up you by now realise that if a few 6 mile trips enable you to do a 10 miler then a few 10 milers will set you up for longer trips
dont skimp on rests listen to your body , ive done my wrist in by doing 70 miler with only two stops in total, ive done 100 no problem with a few stops but thought id push it - body says no and ive a strain to cope with now .

well done btw theres nothing like the buzz you get from achieving a goal .

Awesome stuff mate, you will progress up to the next milestone really quickly, gradually becoming more addicted!
