Hi everyone,

I've bought myself a bike to do some cross training (I'm a runner by trade). I took it out for my first 10 mile journey this afternoon and I loved every minute of it. I think I'm going to enjoy this cycling carry on. Any tips or recommendations would be appreciated.

What bike is it, specifically, and if you don't post a picture, it isn't true!

I reckon it beats running. You spend a lot more, but you can coast down the hills!

Get yourself a good track pump, such as one from the Topeak JoeBlow range (the Sport model is only around £30). It will make maintaining the pressure of your tires so much easier, and keeping your tires at the right pressure is important!
