Only a couple of days to go until the L2B 2013....
Eight of us are on it this year with five of us staying overnight and riding back in the morning. I'm still not sure whether we've got to pack sun-block or shower gel! Weather forecasts vary from cloudy to cloudy with rain and a bit of sun with clouds and rain...
I'm opting for Sealskinz flip-flops to cover all bases!
This is about my 5th time on the ride, and I've enjoyed every one of them. Last year, we booked the Travel Lodge at Hickstead for £19 and then rode back to Clapham in the morning. Fortunately we have permission to park overnight at the supermarket we work/worked for so the cars should be safe. This year, we've booked the Seafront Travel Lodge (cost me £24 as I booked early. It's about £99 if you want a room now!!)
Bikes I've ridden so far have been an old 1996 Raleigh (still in use but converted to a Single Speed Tesco/Town bike), and my trusty 1986 British Eagle Touristique. This year I'm on my Defy 2.
I know a few others here are on the ride this year so I'll wave to everyone in case it's you
I'll post a few pics of the day if the camera doesn't get waterlogged.

Not totally touting for sponsorship, but if anyone really feels the urge, my page is at http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/PeteRigby
