I was just going to do the shortest there-&-back ride into town to do some shopping today, but the tracks west were just too tempting.

Yup: those dark clouds and that wet path - means we had actual genuine rain overnight just up the road in Gorleston, Norfolk. The first in weeks and weeks……

Found this lovely cool spot just a few meters away from the heat whilst keeping the squirrels off the new trees.

It might well be the only photo today, as I'm going to laze for the rest of it. My garden this morning, after yesterday's inch-or-so of rain in an hour. Nice to see a bit of green coming back.
