As I was cycling along this morning I had the unfortunate luck to be hit by a large flying insect, I think it was a bee. It hit me at considerable speed in the mouth but fortunately my top teeth prevented it progressing any further, which would have been very nasty. It did manage to sting me on the inside of my top lip but I'm not sure it was deliberate or accidental. Luckily I an not allergic to bee stings so it's resulted in a very small unnoticeable lump that "stings" abit.

I just look on the positive side that at least it never made it past my teeth, I could have been in a whole lot of trouble if it had managed to get any further.

A couple of years back I got stung on my  by a wasp

Oh and numbnuts - please tell me that smiley is to represent your tongue rather than a cheeky 'censored' type symbol?

I hit a bee on Sunday, on my chin, while doing 30+ mph. The bruise came up several hours later and is still visible today.

They're big aren't they!

Fortunately I didn't get stung this time.

similar experience over the weekend, doing just under 30 and turn to say something to my m8 behind when a fly goes right into my bloody ear!
shot out again sharpish tho, and i got clocked on the nose by a bug too, which flippin stung for a bit (as apposed to being stung)

I had an angry wasp stuck in a helmet vent once, I stopped and heard a strange buzzing sound coming from the top of my head. Took my helmet off to see what it was and out came an angry wasp, luckily it didn't sting me.

Got some small insect in my ear a couple of days ago, I could hear a loud squeaking noise in my ear which must have been it's wings flapping like mad. Managed to get it out without stopping anyway

But did it come out of the same ear, or just travel through and pop out the other side?
