I do reckon, as I very much doubt halfs, parents, siblings, employers or friends would give a fig either.
Employers maybe if it was in a company vehicle but other situations nah.

My friend has MS, she saw a photo of a car parked in the Disabled bay outside our local Co-op (on street parking No car park) as the pic was time dated/stamped she knew that it was there when she had, had to park at the far end of the road at the time on that day. It was her neighbours car - I can assure you her neighbour has not done it since!
I could give you many more examples, but that would be boring.
This of cousre may not happen everywhere, towns cities etc - but village life does have it's good points

Yes I can imagine in a village where everyone knows everyone else's business it may work. In cities and towns less so.
