My father at a very late age recently tried to take up cycling again ! ( He'd always been a keen cyclist in his youth, but even he admits his purchase was a little rash )
So after only a few road rides & lots of time sat on the rollers he has kindly passed it on to me
After a few adjustments I have changed it from this .......
.... to this .....
changes included lower stem, raising saddle, changing pedals, fitting bottle cage, Crud racer mudguards, better sized saddlepack, rear light.
Although only the lower spec Trek it will be ideal for my commute bike during the autumn & winter.
I will give it a few test rides before it's first ride to work on Wednesday ............ I will periodically log its progress !
