But for ages I've been thinking that I'd get a hybrid and attempt the ten miles. I'm lucky because we have showers at work and I have a spacious locker. So I took the plunge this week.

That's what I did 3 months back. Same distance, too. It's been wonderful.

That's a good commuting distance, you'll soon be doing both trips and then finding longer ways to get home.
