New boy.... actually, owld git !!

Hello all,

Just joined from Durham City.

I'm currently riding a Scott G-Zero (FS), which I've owned from new (1999) and its fast becoming a retro classic

I've had a few years out due to knee surgery after a climbing accident in the Scottish Highlands and put a few too many pounds on (Ok.... a couple of stones). Recently had the bike serviced and I'm working hard on building the miles and fitness back up, managing 28 off road, in the rain yesterday.

I'm going to nose around the site now, to see where the best place is to ask a Yorkshire route question.

I look upon riding as a good way of getting to the pub - started off riding to one 2 miles away, now I ride to one 70 miles away. It's progress of a sort.
