Well ok you got me, it's not new. It's my 15 year old MTB but I've got so fed up of the Giant road bike making so many noises that I'm going to commute on this until the new fixie arrives!

If you go fast enough the wind noise over powers any noises coming from the bike:tongue:

Tried everything. Stripped the crank, put new BB on it. New pedals, stripped the headset. Still makes noise so it's been "retired". New fixie should be here in a month or so

What model is it you have? Just having mine serviced and having BB replaced, chainset and they've also found issues with the hanger, spacers etc. Not overly happy spending £300 on fixing a bike that cost me £800 in the first place.

Got an SCR A1. I'm fairly sure it's the crank but the new commuter bike (fixie) cost not much more than a new crank for the Giant once you factor in Cyclescheme
