New Cycling TV Channel Virgin 552 'Bike'

While recouperating at home off work after some minor stomach surgery last week (no cycling for five weeks) I have noticed a new channel devoted to cycling pop up for those who have Virgin cable. It's callled Bike and is on 552. Sorry, not sure of any other channel packages it might be part of.I'm going to check out the 'greatest climbs' prog.

It's been on Sky for a while. I keep forgetting it's there. What I have seen isn't much cop.

Mrs ID's joy when I showed her that this channel was available on Sky 464 was visible, she seemed to be looking toward God in heaven as if to thank him.

Also available on freesat. If you need to add it manually, it's 11306kHz Horizontal 27.5Msym/s.

It's also on Virgin but most of it is either old stuff or just crap,don't think I've watched a whole programme yet.

They're showing "Bicycle" at 2030 next Monday which I think is http://bicyclethefilm.com/ but might be disappointed.

It clashes with Travel Man: Copenhagen on 47 at the same time. Record one, watch one.

Oh and I wish they'd make the original soundtrack available on another audio channel for the dubbed shows. The dubbing is AWFUL. Completely the wrong voice artists for the faces IMO. I'd rather struggle along in Italian than listen to that posh accent!

I have been watching 'Bike' on Sky 464 since shortly after it's inception.

The main gripe is that it's very Eurozone in flavour with many voiced over or subtitled programmes. * yes I know we are in Europe *

It's redeeming feature for me is the Greatest Climbs series which is on series timer.

BMX World Championships were also on last week.
