Hi,
I'm Toby, im 16 and Iv just started getting out on the bike again aften about 2ish years of only cycling to school and back. I used to do allot of cycling often going out on the bike for 15 - 25 mile (mainly road) bike rides on the Shogun Grind.
That bike got nicked (from outside me own house in day light - just cut the lock and took it
) that was early this year and I replace it with a Giant Boulder which seems to be a great bike. Until the last couple of weeks its just been for commuting to and from school but iv just reignited my passion for cycling and have started doing combination rides, so a bit of road and a bit of off road.
I know the bike is just a very normal, relatively cheap (£230) bike but I'm not made of money so it'l have to do.
At the moment the bike is completely standard but I should think that I will end up making some minor mods as time goes by. There are a couple of things which I think might help - what do you guys think? ......
- A straight head piece - rather than the one which points upwards slightly
- A new sadle, lighter weight etc
Anyway, I hope to enjoy my time here and to be able to share this fine sport with other like minded people.
Cheers,
Toby
