Great to have you here. Welcome aboard. How did you discover Cycle Chat?

I started cycling last Summer into work. Thought I need to do it properly. Found CTC. Joined them in Jan. Read their forums for advice. Found a link there to ACF. Joined there as a member. Got some decent advice. Found a link to Cycle Chat there. They self-combusted. Joined Cycle Chat.

What did you google? Were you actually looking for a cycling forum or did you stumble into it?

i rejoined c+ (couldnt work out why it was called earth radar or whatever) and saw a thread with you lot moaning that CC was down. Guessed by the sheer bloody crumudgeonlyness of the posts that i would be at home here.

I think I was looking for info on the bikes I was interested in, Googled something like 'Rockhopper' and found a thread on here. Looked like a nice little forum so here I am :0)

As someone who mainly lurks this forum has been fantastic. I have spent a lot of time laughing since I found this site and done things to the bike that I would never have done.

Did a google search for cycle forums and this ones the best of the bunch Only recently got into road riding and already found lots of useful info here, just going to pop into the other thread for a cuppa if thats allright?

I was google searching for recumbents and found the recumbents forum. Kept reading and eventually decided to stop lurking and join. It seemed more laid back and fun then the other forums I found and used previously.

It is also a site where I have met and enjoyed the company of forum members soonest at Nottingham Get Cycling.
