Nonsense, we're really friendly.

Seriously... bear with me,

Probbly the most dangerous in a one on one encounter would be a Silverback yet they look lovely and soft and cuddly, in a slightly dim way!

Now you take that little bugger from the Outbreak movie! He may only give you a nasty nip but by christ he is an evil looking son of a bit*h!

Point of order: (Silverback) gorillas are apes, not monkeys. You not a fan of the Discworld books?

Ok, minor slip, but the concept is there even if my terminology was wrong!

I am a massive fan of the natural world... just a theory I have and you know what I meant so don't be a smart arse

Same with Clown fish! if they were bigger I would never go in the water, evil little blighters they are!

I understand your point. Same with cats. The only reason they don't kill you is that they're not big enough.

Not surprising that new ones evolve from time to time, given the vast amount of lush vegetation, variety of plant life and trees for habitat that exist in the rainforest.

It might not be a new one. Maybe they just gave an old one a haircut, some of these naturalists will do anything for their five-minutes of fame.

What, since man last looked? If find the notion that it was already there and undiscovered, or in fact the haircut idea, more likely.

Whatever, I still bet it's a grumpy little b******!

Too true, give him a blade and he would cut you withut a second thought!!

I am pretty sure you are right too Mr P in that he didn't suddenly evolve in 2007 then a scientist found him.

I know its a crazy notion for some but he may have been around for a while, we just had never seen one before.... AND he may not be the only species we don't know about :ohmy:

Oh I don't know... I bet a Tiger could do you a little mischief in no time.;)

No doubt as could a lion, but in the most part as with larger Primates they dont look as mean as their smaller distant relatives!
