Just picked up a new old bike (late 70's I suspect). I was interested in finding ou a bit more about the components/bike.

It is an A de Carvallho who I believe was an ex tour de france rider from mid 70's who went on to make/sell bikes in the Correze department in France. The bike has 3t head and bars with Campo headset. Campo front derailleur and down tube shifters, Weinman front and rear brakes, Shimano 600 rear derailleur, Stronglight (I think it is a mod 93 but any help identifying appreciated - it has 32,42 and 52 front chainrings). It has KKT Pro Vic II pedals with mini D Christophe (Brevette) toe clips.

I have uploaded pics on to Flickr :-

Please let me know if I have not added the link properly.

I realise with small makers it is probably difficult to know which components would have been original but any opinions or facts much appreciated.

The shifters look like Campo Super Record. How are Super Record Shifters, chainsets and headsets identified ?

Looking at date codes on Shimano 600 Arabesque derailleur I think this makes it a 1983 code HE. Not 1970's as I had guessed from styling.
