New Road Bike

Hello All,

I am looking at buying my first road back after a 10year gap.

I have narrowed it down to the 2013 Cube peloton Triple Road http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/cube-peloton-triple-road-bike-2013/rp-prod111956

What are your thoughts on this?

Apparently a pretty nice bike. If your budget is for that sort of bike, just sit back, go out and try a few out, whichever takes your fancy AND rides well/fits, pays yer money. Don't be tempted by the photos online the stores' websites have. They not always exactly specced and their colouring is often awry.

Hey @medavidcook.

Lots of folk on here luv the Cube & Giant too.

Massive fan of Cube bikes here, you get a lot of bang for your $ with Cube bikes I.e higher spec for same or less dough.

Good well built bikes & several CC'ers have invested in one recently & although I dont yet have one, I have ridden a Peloton & loved it.

Will be investing myself via C2W scheme in spring/summer as my second bike - once I have paid for my current & much lived Sintesi Z2.

Cube bikes (it is said) come up a little small to 'standard' sizing - although I found my 'usual' 58'' to be perfect.
