New Road Bike

Hi i have only just joined but have read quite alot of posts. Am looking for a road bike
I was just wondering if anyone knew anything about the following makes : VIKING, CALIBRE and BH.
They are for sale at go outdoors, they also sell raleigh
Prices seem quite reasonable but i know very little about road bikes having only ever rode mountain bikes.
I havent the boggest budget so need to be a tad careful.

What's your top budget and where do you live? Of the brands you mention, Raleigh would be the best bet

I'm old school and have had 2 Raleigh 100s over the years. Spec changes often but you can't go far wrong with them.

sorry I am in Cheshire , was hoping for around £300- £350

Or you would be wise to have a look at the btwin offerings from decathlon, this one is on budget. Very popular starter roadbikes, around 10.6kg
