I'm actually liking climbs more, the roads here as pretty crap and some of the downhills are frightening so I end up trying to cut speed. Went to work on my MTB (first time I have ridden since getting my road bike) this morning and got soaked, the ride through the woods was epic though, 2 big broadsides but managed to stay on, great way to start the day :-)

I know what you mean actually, just been out for a ride and was nearly shaken off the bike on one downhill section! Being dark aswell its hard to see the bumps to avoid them before its too late! I'm used to climbing on a mtb where you have loads of gears to go down so you can stay in the saddle, I occasionally get off the saddle in a higher gear but with all the flex and the front suspension bobbing up and down I was wasting alot of energy, I can't believe how much a road bike wants to actually go forwards when you get out of the saddle!
