Hi all.
I have a Carrera Crossfire 1, which I've been using for about 2 months now. But I've real trouble finding a comfortable seat.
At the moment, I'm using a Charge Spoon, since of all the reviews it's received, but I can't get on with it, I persevered with it, since I'm pretty new to biking and was told I need to toughen up, but at the moment, I can't go for no longer then 3 hours in the seat, pain kicks in after about the 1st hour.
Last weekend, I did a cycle from Canterbury to Deal, was about 23 miles, when I got home, my buttocks were sore and absolutely glowing.
I was wearing cycling shorts for this.
Last Thursday I decided to cycle to the station on my commute to work, couldn't wear my shorts, it's about 3 miles to the station and god damn it was uncomfortable.
I need a new seat!
Can anyone recommend me one, I know it's a personal thing, but are there certain styles I should look out for, or do people know any good bike shops in the Kent area that can "fit" me for one. My frames the biggest I could get, so my seat is slightly lower then my handle bars.
I really want to break this 3 hour barrier, the rest of my body is willing, sadly my arse isn't.
