Cheers Kenny, i have only ridden it about 1/2 mile round the block (wife's away) while kids in garden and it felt pretty good.
It seems to be more upright than i remember from test ride. Spd's fitted while i decide on new pedals. Looks awesome though.

Nice one beastie, quite a few happy owners on here now,is it your weekend bike or commuter?

A bit of both Potsy. I am keeping the carrera subway for winter and bad weather commuting and will use the secteur
for nice weather commutes and weekend rides. This evening I did a 20 mile loop in 1 hour 15 mins, as opposed to a
best time on the hybrid of 1 hour 26 mins. And I reckon that I could have done the same loop again at the same pace.
I just need to move the seat up and back a smidge, and adjust the reach on the brakes and it should be perfect.

So after 1 day I am well chuffed.

Nice choice of bike.

Has the stem been flipped?

Yes it's a lovely bike, and no the stem is not flipped. After riding it this evening it's about right. I had my subway set as
aggressively as possible and it was slightly too long for me. Arms shoulders and neck all felt much better than they would have
on the hybrid. Hope the weather stays dry for now!!!!!!!

That's what I said when I first got mine, trouble is you won't want to go back to your Subway because the Secteur is so nice to ride.
Mine is now my all year bike, hybrid is only emergency and shopper bike.

The subway is on borrowed time anyway, there is a hardtail on the (distant) horizon. The missus has grudgingly accepted that if I commute by bike then the saving on petrol (or most of it anyway) can be used to finance cycle related purchases. When I say "grudgingly accepted" I mean she hopefully will when I bring home the MTB in the new year.
