New to CycleChat

Hi there, My names Carl and I live in Whitefield, Manchester. Not been riding road bikes for too long but I reckon I'm at a fairly acceptable standard. I work shifts so my rides are varied. Mostly do a couple of 20+ rides a week and always try and fit in a 50+ one too if I can. I commute to work everyday witch is a whopping 5 mile round trip.
Looking to join a local club shortly (if any of you lot know of any close to me then please feel free to give me the heads up).
I'm 31, married, new home owner and first child on the way. Oh and I'm also a Liverpool fan.....there I said it (braces self for incoming barrage of jibes and taunts).
Hopefully speak to you all soon and maybe even meet a few of you in the future.

Well to be honest, I'm originally from Leeds but I've been living in Manchester for around 4 years now. Now I know that's not much better but I thought I'd better just get it outta the way before it creeps out later.
