Being from the North West, I opted for Ribble. Love the bike and the rims keep it rolling forever. Ultegra throughout and Mavic Cosmic Carbone SL's Deda finishing kit.

A couple of hundred. Really comfortable and goes "Up" well too. Done Beacon fell loop a few times. Loving it but I have already started looking at either a Cervelo S3 or a TCR Adv SL.

:welcome: to CC from :sun: Bolton

FYI, there are various threads entitled 'Show us your......................' (you'll find 'em), and inevtably there is one for bicycles made from that new fangled carbon thingymajig, that one is HERE

You might want to pop yours in there for all the fellow weight weenies

Looks awesome!, loving those wheels really suit it. I went for the new sportive racing in the end but I think the Fondo would have been my second choice. If it had Cervelo written on the downtube would you be thinking of changing it?

I think youre right Goody. The answer to that is no. Did the Manchester to Blackpool on it yesterday 3:30 and very comfortable. A faultless bike from start to finish and maybe I bought into the brand snobbery looking at Cervelo's etc. Throw into the mix that im relatively inexperienced and the fact that the Ribble is far more competent than I am and I think the answer is to stick with what I have. Funny how this cycling bug effects us.

I nearly went for the Sportive Racing too. Not sure why I didnt, just a snap decision in the shop whilst trying both out for size.

I live too far away from the shop to have a look before I ordered mine. Reviews seemed positive for both so got the New Sportive because I prefered the paint job.
