Hi - I’ve decided to scratch a lifelong itch and try triking. Having made several cargo trikes ( always two wheels at the front and one at the back), I’ve bought a Ken Rogers trike back to fit a standard diamond frame. I was conned into trying to corner a trike 53 years ago when in York competing in the George Herbert Stancer National Schoolboys 10 mile Championship (anyone remember that event?) - about six of us lads had a go without success of course before the trailer let us into the secret.
Anyway, my question is about brake options - I know both will need to be on the front wheel- is it better to have a bracketed double brake in front of forks or one either side of forks (ensuring clearance of course)?
Thanks. Dick
