I think the Aldi set is missing the headset spanner and some other bits too, but it or some other kit can be better for those whose who have Hollowtech 2 bb's (tool integrated within chain whip).

I'm totally new to bike servicing. Wasn't really doing more than tire change or tube repairing. But now I'm thinking about converting my 70's road bike to single speed. That would be a good chance to learn more about bikes and give that old bike another chance.

Long story short. I have some general tools for car/home and a IceToolz "Reserve" 16 multi-tool. But I already see that I will be missing tools like chain-whip for freewheel removal and something to remove cottered BB, maybe something else too. So trying to decide if it's worth buying one of those cheaper tool kits. So far these match my budget:
BIKE HAND BIKELAND 13 PIECE TOOL KIT
X-Tools Bike Tool Kit - 18 Piece
Any advice if it's worth it? Maybe something important missing? Would buy separate tools when I need them but just a couple of tools will probably cost as much as half of the kit.
Don't wan't to spend more than these kits cost because those tools probably won't see much use.
