New tubeless rims (is this normal)

Could it be that the valve is moving and disturbing the tape? Where are the spokes that leak in relation to the valve?

It could indeed be this.

I’ve just removed the wheels and tried them off the bike and it hasn’t done it at all.

Just a little alarming when I hear the hiss from the spoke nipple.

Maybe a quarter of the way round from the valve

So if the valve is at twelve the leak is at three? Seems a long way, but definitely makes the rim tape suspect.
