New tyres required

....I have a folding bike that needs a new set of tyres, but am concerned about clearance issues. Current ones are cracked after about 10 years (little use), and are 20 x 1.50, and look rather skinny, and ride is not very plush.

I would have gone with a pair of Schwalbe Big Apples, but they are too large in diameter to clear the rear frame, but not too wide - shame really, as I like large volume tyres for smooth rides.

Anyways, second option is to fit some BMX tyres instead, been looking at the Schwalbe Mad Mikes at about a tenner each, but not sure if they will fit without fouling the frame. Does anyone have any BMX tyres on their folder, and if so what brand/model, and most importantly what diameter is the tyre?

Any feedback greatly appreciated.......

.....just an update on this one. Staying in southern Thailand for a few days and popped into a local bike shop and saw these:

Not heard of this brand before, but locally made, and 3 quid each, so got a pair just to try out.........
