New work in progress

Picked up this old 1986 Raleigh equipe on gumtree and giving it a new life . Blasted and powder coat finish with new saddle , brake cable and single speed freewheel so far . Thinking of keeping the suicude levers . Just had its first run out !

If I can make one teensy suggestion though, get rid of those spoke reflector thingies.

Very nice, I had those suicide levers on my 1981 racer.

My Raleigh Equipe (actually a Super Equipe cos it's the red/white version) still has the suicide levers on.
And 12 gears.

I know what you mean , I usually always take these off but have kept the old retro front and back ones as I thought it added to the retro look . I'm undecided on wheels

Not got a digital camera so can't take a piccie of mine but barring mine having a Brooks B5N saddle on it this is almost the same
