Blazed, why should we help on such a simple task?

I'll spell it out for you: a useful tool to find a hotel in london might be....

.....ready.......?

......got a pen and paper handy....?

.....the...............I..N..T...E...R...N....E....T....?

'Blazed' - pron. blasé from now on...here you go blasé - a person of your standing deserves nothing less

There is a subtle difference between the internet wheres wyou will get a load of reviews posted by the owner and their friends saying how good they are..... and an honest opinion from a site like this where we have no particular bias or agenda.

The OP asked for a recommendation, which is a totally different thing from simply asking for a hotel

Good manners will do both....

I think blazed has a point though. I find it irritating when people insist on scientific peer-review publication levels of precision for posting on an internet forum.

Are they like this directly to people in real life? Somehow I doubt it.

The OP has asked us to recommend a "good" hotel, but fails to tell us what, in his eyes, constitutes a good hotel.
Some of the factors he could have mentioned if his call for advice was genuine.
Availability of secure cycle parking.
Maximum distance from the Eye.
Price range.
View of the river from bedroom.
Breakfast included in price.
En-suite facilities or not.
Helicopter parking etc, etc.
I think blazed is having us on, nothing new there.:biggrin:
