I'm currently cooking Thai Green Curry and Nutty Chicken Curry for tonight.

Got friends coming round with their little lad of 3, and possibly a neighbour with their two lads (towards midnight).

So far just catering for first set of friends......... who knows.....?

Got a few fireworks (now't too big) and some Chinese Lanterns to let off around midnight !

So, what are you up to !!

Nothing.

For the second year in a row we have no invites. Everyone that we know well are off somewhere else, and I'm feeling rather crap for a third day in a row. Don't know why we are so unpopular - not aware of having made any serious social gaffs recently, or being subject to a whispering campaign. Perhaps I'm getting too old, but there again my Mum has probably got big plans for this evening.

Party on here anyone?

The whole day is going to be one big bike ride / wii / xbox / movies / party games splurge.
Our two girls, 8 & 10 drew up the itinerary last night before going to bed.
We'll all be away to our beds well before the bells because its up with the larks for an
early start ,so we'll be atop of Moel Famau for 11.00 hrs. ( That's the theory )

bed by 10pm woken up at 12 by bloody fireworks same as last year

I'm spending the night wild-camping in the Ashdown forest [shh, don't tell anybody - it's against the byelaws!]
Just me and my dog Lucky, who I hope will catch us a rabbit or two for supper before it gets dark.
Never spent NYE in the woods before. Should be interesting!

Family gathering. We'll make it to midnight and the 'bongs' and the invariably poor tv offerings (and the fireworks - poor cat will be looking for a cupboard to hide in as ususal), but by half twelve I'm betting we'll all be heading for beds.

Working, doing the disco in a local Bar.

If anyone is watching the BBC New Years coverage look out for COIN. It's a small town in Malaga Province, Andalucia, Southern Spain. But it#s New Year Eve party is bigger than most of the cities. It's one big fancy dress party.

Problem is the weather could spoil everything, as it usually does over here, been torrential for the past 36 hours again.

I've been gathering in bottles of beer from as many different countries as possible. Every NYE Mrs Blue and I sort said accumulation of beers into country order for a circumnavigation of the world. We start from as far away as possible - usually the Far East - and then go on a world trip drinking our way home. It has been a family tradition for several years now and won't change this year.
