Hi all,

I joined the site a couple of months ago but never got round to posting. Living near Kings Lynn in Norfolk and not ridden a bike for 10 years before Jan when I picked up a Cube Aim 29er for work commutes and weekend riding.

I've got on really well with the bike and done some decent rides on it, much so I've just ordered a road bike too for expanding my enjoyment to road cycling. I'm going to be starting training for the Silverstone 24Hr event when myself and three mates will be raising money for charity. I'm planning on doing a couple of triathlons too and some sportives at the end of the summer, this should fit nicely into using cycling for cross-training as part of marathon training

I look forward to discussion on here and some advice along with way.

Thanks, it's pretty lame for MTB, not tried Thetford Forest yet, we go with the kids and its on my list to do.

I had a cracking couple of weeks in Moray on the MTB and want to head up there again, it's just so bloody far! I was hoping the road bike would be here in time for tomorrow so I could have a crack at the Norwich 100 but I was too late ordering :-(

I do KL to Fakenham/ Wells all the time to get back to see my parents - great cycling country and anyone who says the Fair County is flat, has never cycled up the hill from Sandringham/ West Newton to Anmer!

Thanks for the welcome, I've been away from home this last week and took my road bike with me (was delivered just before I left). Moray has some nice locations to get to, here's a quick shot I took on the phone.

I went to Thetford too before I came away, did the Lime Burner trail and quite enjoyed it.
