Newbie from sunny Stoke

Hi, I'm Rob from Stoke. Decided I needed exercise in my life
So I bought a carrera from Halfords.
seriously into it now and have finally blown
Off all the cobwebs. Looking to move on to a nice
Road bike. Wish I'd jumped back on a bike years ago
As I've never felt better.
Anyway, hello to all of you and look forward to posting on here.

I'm collecting my bike on Saturday, a Kona Sutra on the CTW scheme from Swinnertons in Fenton, looking forward to building up my fitness and loosing some of my weight........

New to the born again cycling thing so need to get some miles under my belt first....

I work for the co-op. I will post in another
Thread as I want some advice on a good carbon road bike
for me to move on to.
Didn't realise about eating on a bike ride.
First time I did 35 miles I was knackered
after 25. A friend of mine put me right and now I'm looking to 50+ now

And get work to set up a cycle2work, it pays them to do so , something about the tax saving blah blah but i do believe it saves them some money due to the way the tax system works.
