You're having a laugh! It's a Kuota K-factor!! A few years old, but still..!!!
OK now listen carefully! Go straight back to your sister and explain to her that it will make a lovely candle-holder in your living room or say you put on a bit of weight and hide it under your sweater.. Either way disappear with the "ornament" asap! That's your way out from road cycling with a MTB my friend!!! And this is how it can look by next spring with a little TLC and, ok I admit, a bit of money:

haha, Its my sisters fella's, He's a proper fitness freak! Tri-athlons etc... he has allsorts of stuff knocking about! And not the type to just ''let it go'' either. Mores the pity! lol

Indeed, it's a Tri entry level bike (in your case frame).. Shame!!!

That's because it's a 2006 model .. and back then it was considered very much en vogue!!
