well, i managed to drop a 145KG night storage heater off the wall onto lino.
my boys have a habit of sticking stuff through the front vents so i was trying to clean it out when it fell off the wall! looking at it it is held on with 2 screws about 1.5 cm long and on two feet which are just bent metal!
Time to ring the landlord tommorrow and fess up hoping that our 2 1/2 years of tenure will be enough to say we can have it removed as we have only used that one twice and its in the way!! basically hell has to freeze over for us to use it as its next to a fire and within 8 ft of another more central one.
just hoping the boys dont hang on it tomorrow and pull it off the wall properly.
