It was a bit nippy this morning, minus ten! The trees looked amazing though like something from a Christmas card. Felt very festive this morning especially as a car passed with Christmas songs playing rather loudly lol.

Not wanting to compete, but it was -14C on my car thermometer today, as I drove in. It certainly felt like it! It was one of those days when I had to scrape the inside of the car as well as the outside! :cold:

Whooah...get some cream on that nose and under eyes............ my nose is OK, but skin under eyes is suffering like that at the moment - the cold is cracking up the skin...........

must have been -8 for me, coldest I have ever known, last year I would have gone by car but in summer I got rid of it, so no choice but the bike, I thought my ears were going to get frost bite

absolutely bloody freezing

 On the way home tonight the car temp gauge read -15C! Now that is nippy. I believe it as well, as the official temp for Glasgow (on my phone) is -13C and I am out in the sticks!

Had the roads not been a nasty mix of snow, slush and ice I'd still be on the bike though. I need to get back on the bike!!!!

-12 on way home last night. Really sharp and clear the stars felt like they were right on top of me. Drank my usual fluids despite the cold, but was busting by the time I got home. No way were zips coming down in those temperatures!

-5 in North Herts this morning. We have been quite lucky and have no snow on the ground anymore. So I'm riding on slicks.

We did have freezing fog though. I arrived at work covered in it (much like Uncle Phil) looking a bit like a snowman!

Its good to be back on the bike. Hopefully we avoid any more snow!

There talks a true cyclist..................

Buy some studs for next year, and find a route to work off road................... can't be mixing it with slippy cars.

For that I would either need a new bike, or I would need to bring the old Ridgeback back to life (it's in a sorry state in the Garage at the moment in need of many parts!).

Ah to have money!
