has anyone used the sleeper pods or reclining seats on the Aberdeen to lerwick ferry your experiences please can you get some sleep in these rather than sharing a cabin berth thanks

Used the sleeper pods when I went to Shetland 2 years ago. They were very comfy and I would recommend them - I also got a free shower included in the price. The reclining seats did not look at all comfortable.

The reclining seats are not comfortable. Never tried the pods as I was told they are just like the seats with covers. Latterly always got a cabin. People used to sleep on the bench seats but Serco put in divisions to stop “free” sleeping. Seen lots using the floor in the cinema after it stops but not recently as I am off in my cabin by then.
