Yeah, pretty good and that's just at Hampden. I quite fancy Kasabian but it's in the SECC which is a crap venu.

Bruce Springsteen was very good, great showman. Only two disappointments were that the sound wasn't very good and he didn't play 'Born In The USA'.

Apparently U2 have a really stunning stage setup, even better than Take That.

Bon Jovi at the Ricoh was awful, not a Bon Jovi fan but the venue was crap. What really spoiled it though was Nickelback were the support.

Bon Jovi at the Molineux was alright though, bit smaller.

I can think of other reasons for Bon Jovi being awful! ;0) My wife went to see Bon Jovi with some friends last year, I wouldn't go if you paid me.

No, me neither, but by way of revenge i took her to see Billy Bragg supported by Otis Gibbs at Wolves Civic a few weeks ago. She was distinctly underwhelmed while i loved it.

The only saving grace at the Ricoh was that the parking was so poorly organised that we only had to suffer about ten minutes of Nickelback.

To be honest, Springsteen apart, you'd have to pay me a lot of money and provide me with luxury transport both ways for me to go there if any of that lot were playing. And I wouldn't part with more than a tenner to see Broos, neither.

I'm going to one of the U2 '360' nights at Wembley

From what I've heard it'll be great. U2 were excellent last year, the sound quality was the best I've heard in a large venue, and I've heard that the show they're putting on this year is epic.

I'm not that big a fan of huge concerts either but I think if they treat it as a show rather that just a concert it can work well. No question though, the best place to be is twenty-feet from the stage, then it doesn't matter where you are! :0)
