Not happy, she's rubbed out my 3 hour Tour of Britain recording

I recorded stage 2 of the Tour of Britain, from Clitheroe to Colne. on the recorder thingy we have. I came home tonight to find that Mrs Accy has rubbed out the recording because she had to make room for all the crap she records then watches, like Celebrity Big Brother, Hollyoaks, Nightmare Neighbours etc. What's the problem? you were there to see it she said. Yeah but i only saw 2 minutes so i wanted to watch the rest,i replied.

It doesn't help if you wanted to keep the recording, but if you just wanted to watch the stage then the highlights are still available on ITV Player.

I thought they only had them on for seven days. On hindsight i should've recorded the one hour highlights as well, so at least i'd have that to watch.

Feel your pain mate . In the old days of vhs and betamax i once got a tape of a Brechin City players testimomal match from a guy that had videoed the game and managed to somehow tape a bit of Blind Date through the middle of it. I handed it back and never mentioned it and you can bet he got a Surprise Surprise the next time he watched it.
